Wedding in Los Cabos - Recommendations for Your Destination Wedding
Wedding in Los Cabos
All wedding photos on this page are the copyright of Peter Hatton Dreaming of getting married in Los Cabos? We can't think of a more beautiful place to hold your wedding ceremony and celebrate the first day of your married life. In this article, we'll lay out the things to consider when planning your important day and our recommendations for the best wedding planner (keep reading), photographer and bakery in town plus some suggestions for beautiful locations to get married. The first thing you need to be aware of is that the Los Cabos area is divided into three regions: San Jose del Cabo, The Corridor and Cabo San Lucas. Look at the map below so you can see where these areas are located in relation to each other.
San Jose del Cabo is a quaint, but fast growing city where the airport is located. (This makes it convenient for guests who want to attend your wedding, but need to be located close to the airport.) The Corridor is the coastal strip of land that extends between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas and is home to some lovely hotels and resorts many of which offer wedding packages in their banquet rooms, poolside or on the beach. (Rather than contacting each hotel (which will try to sell you on its location only), we recommend you contact our wedding planner who will work with you to find the location that reflects your wishes, personality and style. Last but not least, Cabo San Lucas is about 30 minutes from San Jose and is located at Land's End at the tip of the Baja California Sur peninsula with beautiful views of a natural landmark called The Arch (or in spanish, "El Arco").Now that you know the difference between the three areas, you can choose between them. Start thinking about whether you'd like an indoor or outdoor wedding. An indoor wedding is much more private (think chapel or villa) and of course, the environment (noises and the like) is easier to control. However, if you love the great outdoors (and how can you help but love the gorgeous scenery of Los Cabos), nothing is more beautiful than a sunset wedding by the pool or on the beach.

Since your wedding in Los Cabos is one of the most momentous occasions of your life, make sure you consult with our wedding coordinator. Although you can contract a hotel to provide similar services, understand that they can't possibly give you the same level of personal attention. The personnel who are in charge of event planning at hotels are handling many other big events at the same time. By contrast, your wedding coordinator will focus on you and has the specialized knowledge and local contacts to create a wedding that reflects your vision and personality. You'll be in good hands, so you can relax and enjoy your perfect day.
The wedding planning company we recommend is Fiestas Los Cabos. In addition to taking care of all the details from location to hair and make-up for your wedding in Los Cabos, they have a bilingual staff, so there will be no miscommunication due to the language barrier. Their flair for putting together the perfect wedding has been noted in such prestigious publications as Brides and Blooms Magazine, Destination Weddings Magazine and TheKnot online. To contact them, use the form below. If you're still unsure about wedding dates, number in your party, etc., just fill in as much information as you can, but be sure to fill in the contact information completely. (Below the form are our recommendations for our favorite wedding photographer, wedding cake specialist and some great locations to get married.)
