Vacation to Cabo

We are taking a vacation to Cabo the 3rd week of October and have a few questions I hope you can answer.

1. What will the water temperature be then, will it be warm enough for water activities?

2. We're staying at a villa in Pedregal and were planning on stopping at Wal-Mart on the way in for food,beer etc. We were wondering if the prices/selections were comparable to the US.

3. Is it best to use US currency, Mexican currency or a credit card for most purchases?

4. Are there any fishing charters you would recommend over others?
