Traveling to Cabo san Lucas alone - things to do?

Hi! I'm traveling down to Cabo San Lucas for a week's vacation in May 09, but going down by myself. I'm used to traveling alone, but haven't been to Mexico in years and wanted to get a feel for activities I can do and places I should check out that are good for a 30-something woman traveling by herself.

Any thoughts/suggestions on places to go (and avoid) are much appreciated!
