The Tennessee Aquarium is only one of many attractions in Chattanooga, Tennessee!

People used to travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee only when they had to to visit family, on business, etc. It was never really a tourist destination before.

In fact, Chattanooga had been voted one of "the dirtiest cities in America"!

But, no more! Chattanooga, Tennessee has been given rave reviews in several travel magazines and by scores of individuals online! It is hailed as one of the best family travel destinations in Tennessee as well as the entire United States!

Chattanooga Shines for Many Reasons

Of the many reasons this city is so great is the sheer variety of activities in and around the Scenic City, as it is often called. Basically, if you can't do it here, you can probably do it really close by!

For instance, in and around Chattanooga you can hang glide, water ski, visit one of the world's largest fresh water aquariums, walk across one of the longest pedestrian bridges, enjoy fine art in the Bluff View Art District, stay in a world class bed and breakfast inn, and so much more!

If you love the outdoors, we have plenty of camping spots, hiking trails, golf courses, loads of natural scenic beauty, and much more!

If you love amusement parks, we have a great "vintage" style amusement park with a great wooden coaster called The Cannonball at nearby Lake Winne!

If you love comedy, we have The Comedy Catch for great stand up routines and even The Vaudeville Cafe, a murder mystery dinner theatre!

You can learn about the part this area played in the Civil War at Point Park, the Battles for Chattanooga Museum and Electric Map, and the Chickamauga/Chattanooga National Battlefield Park!

You can see the sights downtown via horse and carriage, aboard The Southern Belle Riverboat or a World War II amphibious vehicle at the Chattanooga Ducks, or just a casual stroll.

So Much More To See and Do

We've just scratched the surface in this short article, so hop on over to Chattanooga-Charm.com and learn about more that you can experience in one of the greatest little cities in America!
