Squid Roe - A Cabo San Lucas Hot Spot, Restaurant & Bar

If you like to party, put El Squid Roe Restaurant Bar in downtown Cabo San Lucas at the top of your list of places to eat, drink, dance, hang out and have a good time.

El Squid Roe can get pretty wild at night (minors are welcome until 10:30 pm after which things can get hot and heavy as the alcohol starts taking its toll). The waiters at El Squid Rose actually walk around with spray tanks filled with tequila which they squirt into the mouths of restaurant patrons who open their mouths like hungry little birds. Despite it's party atmosphere, El Squid Row does have a few rules (tongue-in-cheek):

• If the music is too loud, you are too old.
• Forget the dog, beware of the owner.
• We don't speak english, but we promise not to laugh at your spanish.
• There are no rules

There are more rules, but you'll have to check out the Squid Roe web site for the rest. Like the restaurant, the web site is a bit obnoxious (I detest sites that automatically load music ... maybe Rule 1 applies here ... I'm just too old?!)

This three-story, open air restaurant is bursting with music, gyrating bodies, raucous laughter and drunken noise. Colorful signs are posted everywhere and people crowd the floors and hang over the rails to watch people dancing on tables or on the dance floor below. While you're at Squid Roe, be sure to buy one of their famous t-shirts as a memento of your trip to Cabo.

The food at Squid Roe is pretty good—American cheeseburgers and fries and traditional Mexican fare, but it's the drink that goes down smooth and fiery that makes the restaurant an interesting place to hang our and a virtual banquet for voyeurs. pumps everyone up and makes the restaurant an interesting place to hang out and a feast for voyeurs.

El Squid Roe Restaurant, Bar & Grill is located across from Plaza Bonita Mall on Lazaro Cardenas (the main street that runs through downtown Cabo San Lucas) near the cross street of Boulevard Marina.
