Or maybe it's the people and culture. My family and I feel safe in Cabo. I have traveled to Mexico while pregnant, with a two-month old baby (and every year as my children grew older) and always felt secure. In the early years, I even had a motorcycle accident while in Cabo and had to be treated at a dirt floor hospital (today, Cabo has a modern hospital like those in the United States), where I was treated with the utmost care.
