If you plan to go for lunch, vacation wear—shorts and shirts and casual wear is the order of the day. At night, you'll want to take it up a notch. This is your chance to wear that new mini dress or your loud Hawaiian or batik shirt. 
The Cabo Wabo cantina is one of the best known hangouts in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Owned by rock star, Sammy Hagar, this night club is one hotspot you'll want to experience firsthand. Hagar has done more than lend his name to the place, he's given it class, a signature style and attention to every detail. I'm not exaggerating when I say that you're practically guaranteed to have a good time. 
Speaking of lunch, the restaurant is known for its consistently delicious food. Some vacationers I know go there four or five times during a week-long vacation for lunch and dinner. Try the drunken shrimp, pan seared scallops, tail cut filet set atop crispy fried onions or the melt-in-your-mouth yumminess of freshly caught sea bass, grilled to perfection and served with crisp steamed vegetables. Although the menu selection isn't huge, there is something that will appeal to every taste. One caution: the portions are generous. If you don't have a refrigerator for leftovers in your hotel room, you may want to share your meal with a friend. When drinking at the Cabo Wabo Cantina, do as the locals do and have a Waborita (Hagar's signature margarita made with his private label blue agave tequila—yum!) or any of the many liquor or liquers in Hagar's well-stocked bar. Be careful, like the meals, the drinks are generous. The perfect place to party, Cabo Wabo Cantina, has a DJ, house band and visiting bands, depending on the night, which all get rave reviews from tourists. If you're lucky, you might be there for Sammy's Birthday Bash and get to hear the old rocker play. Hard core partyers dance the night away and come back the next night for more. If you're not into the partying scene, you'll love the food and the tipsy partyers will provide plenty of entertainment. The bottom line: Cabo Wabo Cantina has delicious food at reasonable prices, a friendly (and honest staff) and good service. Young or old, you'll want to visit more than once because you'll have such a great time.
