... thinking about traveling to Los Cabos? Allow us to be your guides. I am Laura Ramirez, the owner of this site and this is my family. We have vacationed at the tip of the Baja Peninsula every year (and sometimes twice per year) for the past twenty years. While this may sound boring to you, we go there because we love it and of course, the benefit to you is that we've been-there-done-that: in other words, we really know our way around.

My husband and I first traveled to Los Cabos back in 1986, seven years before our first child was born. Since that first trip, we've seen Cabo through many lenses: those of a single couple who couldn't keep their hands off of each other, newlyweds who wanted to play and party hard and responsible married-with-children types who were concerned with our children's safety, but wanted to find fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. As we've enjoyed our Cabo vacations throughout the years, we've watched this tiny fishing village transform itself from a small village with dirt roads (and a two room hospital with dirt floors) to a major destination vacation spot with as much allure as Maui. While most of the changes have been positive, we do miss that quaint little beach town that so captured our hearts, we purchased a timeshare when it was nothing but a plot of sand.
