As a frequent and long time vacationer to Cabo San Lucas Mexico, I must admit that there's nothing more calming than waking up to the sounds of a gently lapping ocean, playful sunshine and the music of tropical songbirds. Nothing like a day in paradise!
A typical Cabo San Lucas hotel room starts at $140 per night (although there are inexpensive Cabo hotel rooms) and goes up from there. Price is dependent upon how many beds you'll need, total square footage of the room, location and of course, the view from your room. Many of the hotels in Los Cabos are situated inside resorts. For hotel guests, this means that resort amenities such as spas, fitness centers, daycare and activities for children are available. In the case of a

many extras are included in the room fee.
If you're selecting your Cabo San Lucas Mexico hotel based solely on price, make sure to inquire about extra charges. Once you know what you are willing to spend, you can select a Cabo San Lucas hotel based on location. You can stay in Cabo San Lucas itself (which is at the tip of the Baja Peninsula along the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez), along the Corridor (between the airport in San Jose del Cabo and the tip) or on the Pacific side. For those of you who are big time surfers, you'll relish the rough waters of the Pacific.
I recommend that you "stay where you play." If you have a primary activity that you'll be engaging in, stay close to it. If you're a fisherman, stay at the marina. If you want to spend your entire vacation in a resort relaxing poolside, then stay in one of the big resorts along the Corridor, like the Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa. If you tire of the same activity, you can always take a cab ride or rent a car.
If you're on a budget, it is less expensive to stay in San Jose del Cabo. Hotel rooms can start as low as $70. For instance, the El Encanto Inn which is located in downtown San Jose.
