Cabo Pulmo - Relax in this Quaint Mexican VillageThis village is an outdoor lover's paradise. Here you'll find scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, fishing, biking and much more. Known for its white sand beaches, the town is easily accessible from the coastal highway. If scuba or snorkeling is your activity of choice, you'll be excited to know that Cabo Pulmo has the only hard coral reef in the Sea of Cortez (and one of only three in all of North America). Here you will see beautiful fish, some of which are not found anywhere else. The reef is easy to get to from the shore and best underwater visibility (60-100 ft) occurs from March through October. You can't fish the reef (it is protected), however you can enjoy the underwater view or snap some photographs. Save a few for taking pictures of the wreck dive near the cape, where a fishing boat sank many years ago. Although it was just a tuna boat, wreck diving is fun.
