The hotels on the beach in cabo san lucas are: me cabo, cabo villas, bahia, casa rafael, pueblo bonito rose & blanco, cascacadas, casa dorarada, and are close to town between 5 to 15 minutes. hotel tesoro is not on the beach but is in the boulevard marina main street . I recommend those hotels because they are close to town and also you save a lot money with out paying taxis.

To find a cheap all inclusive in Cabo San Lucas, use the cheap finder for great deals. Make sure to pick "Los Cabos" from the drop down box. (The first time I used this to book a trip to Cabo, I kept looking for "Cabo San Lucas").
Sounds like you should stay at a resort on Medano Beach. It's a happening beach, full of activity, sunbathers and water sports. Staying on Medano Beach also means that you'll be close to shopping, nightlife and all the restaurants. Good choices are the ME Cabo and Pueblo Bonito Rose or its sister hotel next door.
If you stay at a Cabo resort in the Corridor (the area between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, you might get a better deal, but you will be farther from town.
