Advisories to Stay Away from Cabo NEW
by: Laura Ramirez

Despite advisories to stay away from Mexico, I consider Cabo San Lucas a safe place to vacation.

My most recent trip was in late November of last year. There was no violence to speak of, nor did we hear about anyone being kidnapped, compromised or hurt in any way. Generally, this sort of thing does not happen at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, but in border towns.

In my twenty years of vacationing to Cabo, I have never had a problem or heard of anyone else who has had a problem. If you are flying into Cabo, you should be fine. If you are planning to drive all the way down the peninsula, then is when you might run into problems.
